From Engineer to Mentor of Champions
When Jada and I first heard about FEG, it wasn’t about money—it was about Living Benefits. For the first time, we discovered life insurance that gave families access to the death benefit while still alive if they became seriously ill. That completely changed our perspective.
Up until then, our family owned life insurance—but the wrong kind. The kind you only collect when someone dies. Coming from a big family that grew up poor, I understood the cost of financial struggle. My parents came to America after the war with nothing but the clothes on their backs. With no education and limited opportunities, they worked long hours in factories, saving until they finally bought their first home.
But when my father developed heart problems and could no longer work, we lost that home. His policy was traditional—you had to die to use it. If Living Benefits had been available, we could have accelerated his policy, paid off the mortgage, and saved our house. That moment showed me the real power of what we do.
At the time, I was a biometric engineer, working long hours and traveling constantly, with little time for my family. Jada and I joined FEG, but I saw it as “just insurance sales.” A year later, Jada decided to take it seriously. Part-time, in just four months, she replaced her entire accountant income.
When she told me she wanted to leave her job, I resisted. Why walk away from accounting to sell insurance? But she showed me professionals just like us who had already retired through this business. Not long after, she retired me from my engineering career too.
That’s when my perspective shifted. I met a doctor who left medicine to build here, and their mentor—a high school dropout who once worked at McDonald’s and washed cars. He became my mentor and showed me what I had overlooked: this wasn’t “just insurance.” It was an entrepreneurial system to build leverage, passive income, and a nationwide agency.

With mentorship and the field training system, Jada and I earned $100,000 in just 10 months, and quickly grew beyond $600,000 a year. My dream had always been to own my time, build a home for my family, and buy a home for my parents so they’d never worry about losing it again. This business made those dreams real.
It also gave us the freedom to see the world while we’re still young. I don’t want to spend life watching the Travel Channel—I want to experience it. Since joining, Jada and I have traveled across continents, creating lifelong memories. Even better, we’ve helped many of our team members achieve the same dream, traveling together to dream destinations as a family of champions.
But today, income isn’t what drives me. What drives me is impact. I get to mentor ordinary people into extraordinary success. One of my greatest joys is taking teammates to tour brand-new homes, encouraging them to bring their kids. Watching children’s eyes light up when they realize their parents are building a better future—that’s priceless.
This business gave Jada and me financial freedom, but what keeps me moving forward is helping others achieve it too. We’ve saved enough never to work again, but I wake up excited each day knowing I carry a roadmap to success—and I refuse to keep it to myself.
