From Lost Dreams to a Life of Freedom with FEG

I was born and raised in the small town of Wausau, Wisconsin. Growing up, I watched my parents work tirelessly to provide for our family of eight. By day, they held 9-to-5 jobs, and by night and weekends, they poured every ounce of energy into their ginseng farm. They were proud people who believed in hard work, sacrifice, and the vision of a brighter future for their children.

From them, I learned the value of discipline, saving, and dreaming big. As a young girl, I imagined the perfect timeline for my life: a beautiful home, a loving family, and a career to be proud of. I believed that if I followed the path of higher education, worked hard, and secured a solid-paying job, success would come.

And for a time, it did. In 2014, I became a licensed dental hygienist. I loved educating my patients and took pride in the career I had built. I worked hard, saved faithfully, and believed my dream home and family were just around the corner.

But then, everything changed.

When COVID hit in 2020, the career I had built with so much passion was suddenly gone. At only 29 years old—during what was supposed to be my prime years—I lost everything I had worked toward. In what should have been the time to get married, settle down, and start a family, I found myself dipping into the savings I had worked years to build. My dreams felt like they were slipping away.

For the first time, I realized that time is even more valuable than money. And I was losing both. I had followed the “right” path—go to school, get a career, work hard—and yet, I felt lost. My career demanded too much of my time, and without it, my financial goals collapsed. How could I ever have both financial freedom and time freedom?

That’s when FEG entered my life.

In March of 2020, my significant other and I joined FEG. For the first time in a long time, I felt my dreams reignite. We became students of the business and poured our energy into building something of our own. In just a few months, we experienced real breakthroughs: we purchased rings to symbolize our love and commitment, moved closer to our daughter so we could be where our hearts belonged, and achieved $100,000 in income within four months.

It was in those moments that I realized—I didn’t lose my career, I found my calling.

FEG gave me something no job ever could: the ability to dream bigger, the mentorship to achieve it, and the freedom to design life on my terms. With this business, I not only reclaimed my vision of owning a home and starting a family, but I also gained what I truly wanted all along—time freedom and financial freedom, together.
